Our subscribers have said to us that the in-depth articles in areas such as congregations in transition, worship, and curriculum are of more significance than the seasonally appropriate materials, most of which are carried in the Internet Subscription.

With that in mind, we are shifting our newsletter publication dates and focus.

Starting this issue, December 1st, we plan to publish on these dates:

December 1,
March 1,
June 1,
September 1.

This will allow us to carry on-going stories from one issue to the next, to update you regarding progress from congregation to congregation, and to work with general interest material rather than specifically seasonal.

You will see the beginnings of this shifting philosophy in this issue. Two of the articles will have a life beyond December: the conversation with Fiona Vidal White, editor of Church Publishing’s new hymnal My Heart Sings Out, and “Spiritual Formation Through the Lens of Liturgy”.
